Malte Haaning Plastic A/S celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Malte Haaning Plastic A/S was founded 1st February 1961, and therefore it can celebrate its 50th anniversary on 1st February 2011. The day will be celebrated with a reception in Sallingsund Færgekro.

The company started with production of drinking straws. Hereafter other products such as cocktail sticks, skipping ropes, garden hoses etc. were added. In 1971 production of beads and pegboards started. Many different products have been produced throughout the years, but today the product range mainly consists of products marketed under Hama. Hama consists of beads in 3 different sizes and many different pegboards. Hama products are sold worldwide in toyshops and hobby shops.
